Leptospirosis in dogs is a bacterial infection that spreads through the bloodstream.
Dogs can get leptospirosis from puddles or bodies of water that carry urine from infected wildlife. The bacteria infiltrate a dog’s body by burrowing into their skin.
Canine leptospirosis can be a serious, life-threatening disease.
Dogs typically contract leptospirosis through direct contact with urine from an infected animal.
Open sores on the skin can increase the chances of contracting this disease.
If your dog swims in, passes through, or drinks infected water, or if they come into contact with infected soil or mud, they are at risk.
Please allow 14 days if you are getting your first C5/C7 vaccination needle done for your furbaby prior to dropping off for boarding or training.
There is a minimum stay of 10 days for Christmas holiday bookings.
Please note a $100 non-refundable deposit per dog/cat is required for all bookings, except from 1 December to 20 January where non refundable payment in full is required to complete booking.
